Optical Calcite Spheres, Iceland Spar

Amazing optical calcite spheres with countless rainbows and layers visible from every angle. Not a common crystal to see, especially in sphere form, and a great addition to your collection. Because calcite is a very soft material coming in at a 3-3.5 on the mohs hardness scale, please use caution when placing next to other crystals as they scratch easily.

These are very fragile in nature so please use care when handling.

Each sphere is approximately 40mm in diameter and approximately 100 grams.
